Nadia is deeply proud to release her debut EP “HER”. With her first single “Easy” to be released first. 

Nadia chose to title her EP “HER” in the third person because it reflects a very specific time in her life when she felt lost and disconnected from who she was. The project follows that feeling of not knowing how to move forward, and the process of finding her way again. “HER” is about who she was then, and the new version of herself she became along the way.

Writing this EP was one of the most emotionally challenging yet Nadia’s proudest work to this date. She was able to find her own sound and voice through a dreamy escape in each song with the help of many collaborators who added so much to this project. References Nadia had for this EP are projects like “Son of Spergy” - Daniel Caesar, “Lana: Deluxe” by SZA, and of course artists such as Amaria, Orion Sun and Ariana Grande.

Nadia received funding from the Innovation PEI Arts Grant to help curate this project. She is proudly from Prince Edward Island and still remains connected with collaborators from the Island to help support her EP. She just recently moved to Toronto where she’s been involved with the music scene and has established new collaborations with other artists in the city.
